MICHAEL MÖLLING

Born on 23 November 1966 in Bielefeld, Michael Mölling studied at the University of Bielefeld. Following his legal clerkship in Bielefeld and Frankfurt am Main, he worked at the New York office of Shearman & Sterling, a U.S. law firm, for six months.

After his admission as attorney-at-law in 1996, Mr. Mölling worked for the Frankfurt office of Shearman & Sterling until May 2003. From June 2003 to June 2008 he worked for the Frankfurt office of Kaye Scholer, another U.S. law firm, and became their European Counsel. Mr. Mölling advises German and foreign companies in corporate law as well as bank and capital markets law. He has assisted in numerous capital markets transactions (IPOs, issuance of shares and bonds) and M&A transactions.

Mr. Mölling completed a course to become a certified Executor for wills and advises on matters of inheritance law including the drafting of wills. A further focus of his work is on transport and forwarding law, for which he has completed the respective course for specialist attorneys.

Mr. Mölling is authorized to represent clients before all German local, regional and higher regional courts.
